LONG SHADOWS OVER NEET UG 2024
Amid raging controversy over recent allegations on the integrity and irregularities in the NTA over conducting the NEET UG 2024 medical entrance examination and the unceremonious removal of the Director General NTA Subodh Kumar Singh, the tug-o- war between the NTA and others versus the demonstrating students ably supported by their parents and many other organizations seem at least for the present favoring the latter with the initiation of a CBI enquiry.
NEET UG 2024 : CONTROVERSY CONTINUES UNABATED
The Supreme Court has observed what many others believe in i.e. Governments may come and go but the thoughts and legacy of compassion and justice must live on. Hence, despite persistent efforts of the striking students and a large number of petitions challenging the NTA and its functionaries in different courts of the country, the Apex Court has taken , what I feel is a right decision of issuing notices to the Centre and NTA on NEET UG 2024 and seeking their reply by the 08 th. July 2024 when the courts re-open besides staying all similar proceedings before different High Courts.
AN APIARY CALLED NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY
Till sometime back, it was thought that extending the dates for submission of the application forms was only the beginning of the chapter. Logically they were not wrong either because someone in the NTA and/or the HRD Ministry took personal interest in the matter.
NEET UG 2024 AND FATHER'S DAY.
The 6th April 1993 will always be remembered as one of the most magical moments of my life, when my son was born and I held him for the first time after his birth. I still remember his first cry on meeting the real world. Presently, he is in Pune working with a startup and I feel elated as a father that he has successfully managed to scale all adversaries till now and complete all responsibilities entrusted on him. Spending quality time with him ( whenever he comes to Jabalpur ) still remains one of my favourite pastimes.
NEET 2024: The Comedy of Errors
In an unprecedented series of events, the NEET 2024 Undergraduate Exam has unfolded like a grand tragicomedy, questioning the very sanctity of the exam, straining students to their limits, diluting educational quality, misapplying resources, and exposing systemic fallacies. Government roles and judicial interventions have only added to the dramatic flair. Here's a satirical take on the chaos.
NEET Aspirants on Streets for Justice
Students on Streets and Shameless System
Students across the nation have taken to the streets to protest against the glaring irregularities in NEET 2024. There is widespread anger among students and their parents, who believe that NTA's negligence and corruption led to a significant paper leak, resulting in a cut-off increase by 50-60 marks. NTA exacerbated the situation by awarding grace marks arbitrarily. In a public notice issued on June 6, NTA admitted to granting grace marks to over 1,500 students.
The Cleanup of the System Through Action Against Baba Ramdev: A Step Towards Accountability
The hope is that actions taken against Baba Ramdev and Patanjali will extend control over all who exploit the health of vulnerable populations under the pretext of religious sentiments. Attempts by Baba's supporters to divert attention into an Ayurveda versus modern medicine debate are utterly condemnable and unjustifiable. No rational person would view it as a clash between two medical systems. Regardless of the medical approach, promoting unscientific remedies and baseless information is both unacceptable and illegal.
Upholding the Rights of Doctors: A Call for Justice and Protection
The rights of doctors are not merely aspirational but imperative for the well-being of society as a whole. Upholding these rights is not only a matter of justice but also a testament to our commitment to nurturing a healthcare system founded on respect, dignity, and fairness. It is time to stand in solidarity with those who dedicate their lives to healing and championing the cause of healthcare workers' rights.
