AIIMS invites applications for INI-CET July 24 Session

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has invited online applications for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) July 2024 for admission to PG courses [MD/MS/MCh.(6years)/ DM(6years)/MDS] of AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh & SCTIMST Trivandrum for July 2024 session. Aspirants are expected to fill application form online from 18th March to 24th April 2024.

NMC seeks Comments from the stakeholders on the National Exit Test Regulations 2023.

National Medical Commission has once again initiated the process of implementation of NExT which was deferred   by an order dated July13 th 2023. As per the recommendations of the Committee constituted by the approval of Honorable Minister of Health & Family  Welfare to examine the implementation/preparation of conducting the National Exit Test (NExT) exam, the  feedback of all the stakeholders is invited by the NMC.

"Admission made at Institutional level in MBBS Course for Academic Session 2023-24 will be Cancelled after verification" NMC

National Medical Commission has informed students admitted in the 2023- 24 session in various medical colleges of India that even though such students whose names are reflected in the final list of 1,04,891 admitted students in MBBS Course for the Academic Year 2023-24, the admissions will still be cancelled at later stage once the verification of admission process is completed by the NMC after receiving the details from Directorate General of Health Services, Govt. of India and all State Counselling Authorities in respect of admissions made at institutional / college level in MBBS Course for academic session 2023-24.

National Medical Commission releases PGMER 2023 regulations

Recently National Medical Commission has released Regulations namely “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023” or “PGMER-23” in its abbreviated form. These regulations will replace The “Post-graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000” and “The Opening of a New or Higher Course of Study or Training (including Post-graduate Course of Study or Training) and Increase of Admission Capacity in any course of Study or Training (including a Post-Graduate course of Study or Training) Regulations, 2000”

NEET-SS aspirants ask for relaxation in cut-off percentile; UDFA writes letter to NMC

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Super Specialty (NEET-SS) aspirants  have raised concerns regarding more than 400 seats for medical super speciality courses being left vacant even after Round 2 of NEET-SS counselling.

NMC instructs colleges to provide information regarding internship completion date of 2018 batch

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the time schedule for admission and completion of course including internship has been affected. Hence, to assess the completion of internship of MBBS students of 2018 batch in order to conduct NEET PG-2024, all the Universities have been requested to provide the necessary information in the Google Form.
