The controversy surrounding the NEET-UG 2024 results has reached new heights as the Supreme Court orders a re-exam for 1,563 students who were awarded grace marks. This decision comes amid growing allegations of irregularities and a nationwide uproar against the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Some pertient questions from NEET aspirants that need answer-
01.Is it wrong to ask for a CBI inquiry when there is unprecedented 5-6 times rank inflation in comparison to previous year ?
02.In Bihar there is a strong evidence of breech in the custody of paper,Why NTA is avoiding investigation ?
03.Economic Offence Unit of Bihar police , has said that paper reached Bihar from Rajasthan through WhatsApp, how do we know what actually happened without investigation ?
04.How do we know that grace marks were given only to 1563 students unless the result is analysed by an independent agency ?
05.With same rank inflation next year a student will hv to score 680 to get a government medical college.Don't we need to restore the trust of future NEET aspirants in the system ?
06.Many students who are getting govt college, even they are asking for thourogh and exhaustive investigation and re examination if needed.
07. More than thirty thousand students are in the score range of 620-650. They are the worst affected and feel injustice is being done with them. Don't they need answers of all their questions to restore their faith in system ? 30000 is not a small number.
In plain view, injustice is being inflicted upon innocent children, and we stand helpless. Thousands of young lives are enduring unbearable agony, yet we remain clueless. They seek justice in the courts but are thwarted at every turn. The government has grown utterly indifferent.
The NTA released NEET results ten days early to bury scandals in the frenzy of the June 4th oath-taking ceremony. Now, they rush the counseling process to preempt the court hearings. What clearer evidence of their malicious intent could there be?
If everything is above board, why fear the court? Students who have invested two, three, or even four years preparing for this exam deserve the right to scrutinize the entire result and dispel their doubts. Is it unreasonable to demand such transparency in a democratic system?
If there remains any shred of sensitivity within the government, it must heed the voices of these innocent, brilliant children. The results and OMR sheets of the top one lakh students in the merit list should be made public. They boast of transparency while shattering all records of irregularities in prestigious exams like NEET.
If the government desires the youth of this nation to retain trust in its systems and institutions, this examination must be entrusted to a CBI investigation.
