In an unfortunate turn of events, Laduram Pitaliya, elected as the first-time legislator from the Sahada constituency in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, has stirred nationwide outrage within the medical community with his unbridled comments targeting doctors. The doctors, not just in Rajasthan but across the entire country, express their displeasure over his unwarranted remarks, prompting calls for an apology.

Dr Kama Chand Saini ,State President of UPCHAR has strongly condemned the behaviour of the MLA and has asked for an unconditional apology.Doctors serve the society day and night and they dont deserve such filthy language ,said Dr Saini 

Dr. Dushyant Sharma, the Vice President of IMA Rajasthan, strongly condemned the legislator's behavior, labeling it as highly reprehensible. United Private Clinics & Hospitals Association of Rajasthan (UPCHAR) took to its official Twitter handle to criticize the legislator's disgraceful conduct, demanding an immediate apology.

The viral video of the MLA is being slammed by doctors from across India.Dr Sarvesh Jain,Professor from Sagar in Madhya Pradesh has reacted very strongly.In a video posted on social media he said that such a low level of language of the MLA is extremely shameful and doctors are not at all responsible for the issues related to infrastructure  and facilities in hospitals.Infact it's wrong to appoint doctors at places where infrastructure is below a minimum level required for proper healthcare services.

UPCHAR, while tagging the Prime Minister's Office, urged authorities to take cognizance of the matter. Similar incidents have been witnessed in the past, drawing sharp opposition from medical associations each time.

While medical associations consistently condemn such behavior, there remains a gap in ensuring that elected representatives understand the gravity of their actions. The incident underscores the need for greater awareness and sensitivity among public representatives towards the challenges faced by healthcare professionals.
