Prof (Dr) GC Khilnani has been appointed to the WHO Advisory Group on Global Air Pollution and Health- Technical Advisory Group for a period of two years.

It would give him an opportunity to contribute and put across concerns regarding adverse 

effects of air pollution in India on World Forum and come out with evidence based recommendation in consultations with international Scientists in this field.

Prof (Dr) G C Khilnani, a renowned pulmonary,critical care & sleep  medicine expert is presently working as Chairman, PSRI, Institute of Pulmonary, Critical care & Sleep Medicine. Formerly a Professor & Head of Pulmonary, Critical care & Sleep Medicine, AIIMS, New Delhi he has done appreciable work in the field of air pollution and respiratory diseases.Doctors from across India have congratuted Dr Khinani for this feat.
